Even though we can not compete in person as a team this year USA climbing has taken the collegiate series virtual! In a partnership with the KAYA climbing app participating gyms will hold redpoint boulder competitions that anyone can compete in at any time. If you’ve ever had doubts about competing this would be a great low stakes introduction.

How will these competitions look, you may ask? Each participating gym will have a number of boulder routes set for two weeks dedicated to the competition. During those two weeks, you have unlimited attempts to send your hardest 5 routes. All sends must be videoed and submitted to the KAYA climbing app with a $30 registration fee for the two week event. 

Unfortunately, this year USAC memberships will not be paid for by the climbing team due to budget constraints. You can still purchase one at this link http://www.usaclimbing.org/Members/Memberships.htm

Metrorock Everett – Nov 9 to Nov 22
Metrorock Vermont – Nov 16 to Nov 29
CRG Hadley – Nov 16 to Nov 29
